OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM & OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM - LIST OF WISCONSIN KIA's

Military History - Iraq - Afghanistan

A new type of war for a new millennia, these conflicts go by many names: the War on Terror, the Iraq and Afghan Wars, Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Following the events of September 11, 2001, the men and women of Wisconsin responded with alacrity to the crisis. The Wisconsin National Guard again answered to call to active duty, with many units serving multiple tours. Other Badgers volunteered for service in different branches of service and have seen duty on a number of fronts.
