Saturday, June 8th, 2014, @ Cherry Hill East High School. The 5K Race Begins At 8:30am at Cherry Hill East High School. Jeremy Kane was a Marine Reservist and Cherry Hill resident enrolled at Rutgers-Camden University when he was killed in live action on January 23, 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. Every year the South Jersey community gathers for a 5K run/walk (whatever you prefer) to honor Jeremy’s sacrifice. Each participant gets sponsors, and the money is used to create a veteran’s scholarship at Rutgers University which will honor Jeremy’s memory. Jeremy’s run is a great place to meet new friends, and re-connect with old ones. The Student Veterans at Rutgers University (SV@RU) cordially invite you to join us for food, fun and a morning you will never forget.
If you cannot make the run but would still like to donate to the Jeremy Kane Scholarship Fund, please click here Or you can mail a check or money order to: Fred Davis, Campus Director, Office of Veterans Affairs, 325 Penn Street, Camden, N.J., 08102 For more information about registration, donations, or sponsorships, frdavis@camden.rutgers.edu or visit:
