Military Dog Tag of Frank T McDonald
Patriot Connections Dog Tag Project was contacted by Lou Settele who had found a couple of military dog tags while medal detecting. One of the dog tags belonging to Frank T McDonald, was found on Misawa AB in Misawa Japan, near Leftwich Park.
We were able to assist Mr Settele in researching this WWII hero and provide next of kin contact information to him.
This hero, Frank T MCDONALD was born on June 15, 1911, in Havre, Montana, his father, William, was 43 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 36. He married Wilma M. Gould on June 22, 1946, in Kalispell, Montana. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 27, 1985, in Pierce, Washington, at the age of 74, and was buried in New Tacoma Cemetery, University Place, Washington.
Frank T MCDONALD served in the US Army from June 1942 to January 1946.

His wife, Wilma, died in 2004. Contact information for one of his surviving children, Cate, was passed on to Lou Settele so he can reach out to her and this hero's military dog tags back to his family.
