We were contacted about a set of US military Dog tags found in England by a gentleman named Jake. He found them under a floorboard during a house renovation in England.  Our help has been requested to help find the veteran/family they belong to. Thank you for reaching out and caring enough to try and return these.

The dog tags belong to WWII hero Virgil Larkin Vaughan. Unfortunately Virgil passed away December 17, 1999 in Dayton Ohio. 

Virgil was born on February 20, 1920, in Greenfield, Ohio  - he was one of 4 children born to Webb and Julia Vaughn. 

Virgil served in the US Army from 1939 to 1945 and married Thelma Francis Lear in 1958.  Thelma passed away in 2009. 

. He served in the US Army from . He married Thelma Francis Lear in 1958 in Wilmington, Ohio. He died on December 17, 1999, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 79
