Please come out to welcome home PFC Matthew Rutter from his deployment in Afghanistan.

PFC Matthew Rutter is with the 25th Infantry Division, 3rd Brigade Combat team, 7th Field Artillery Regiment.
He is 21 years old and is returning from his first deployment which was a 1 year tour in Afghanistan.
Matt is a graduate of Cumberland regional High School (Class of 2009)
Matt is looking to re-enlist with the US Army with hopes of getting into the 82nd Airborne Division and go on to Ranger School (which would be following his grandfather’s footsteps).
He has always been interested in Media Technology and Film Production.
He is enrolled in college to study Criminal Justice and has hopes to be a member one day of a SWAT Team.
Matt is the youngest of family members who have served their country; Grandfather SFC William Guthridge, Brother SSG Kenneth Rutter III, Cousin MSGT Craig Guthridge.
