Here we are..it is 2012 and things are beginning to happen again with regards the billboard campaign as well as a potential fundraiser to keep the billboard campaign alive.
There is a possibility that the billboards may go into other states. Clear Channel continues to generously donate the boards, and Rider Insurance continues to generously sponsor them.
Much to our surprise the next billboard should be going up sometime in May. It’s location is on Rte. 95 Southbound before the Walt Whitman Bridge and going towards the sports stadiums and airport. It is an astounding 20×60 feet!!!! Pictures will follow.
Legislatively, the “right of way” bill has once again been introduced..and of this writing has not moved very far. The foundation wishes for the language to be tighter and the penalties stricter.
Congressman Robert Andrews office has indicated that they have introduced language into the highway traffic safety bill for motorcycles.
