Marines Helping Marines Fishing Tournament. May 17, 2014. Check In 4:30am. Boat Launch @ Safe Light 6am. Huge Party/BBQ/Raffle @ 1pm. Payout based on 80 boats. $4800 to charity 1st wins $4000. 2nd wins $2000. 3rd wins $1500. 4th wins $1000. 5th wins $900. 6th wins $700. 7th wins $600. 8th wins $500. Optional $15 Lunker Pot. Pays $800 for 1st and $400 for 2nd. Top Finisher in Basscat Boat wins additional $250. Entry fee of $200 per boat. Payout 70% split amoung winner. 30% donated to Marines Helping Marines a non profit organization supporting injured Marines at Balboa & Bethesda naval Hospitals & Brooke and Walter Reed Medical Centers. New this year – for children of the competitors, volunteers and staff a kids tournament will take place from 10am-11:30am. For more information email [email protected] or call 570-350-2818.
