The Wilmington VA Medical Center will host the 6th Annual VA2K Walk and Roll on May 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The VA2K Walk and Roll is dedicated to supporting homeless veterans while also encouraging healthy activity. VA employees, veterans, and other community members will join together to collect donated food items and promote health and exercise. The event is free and open to the general public.
The Wilmington VAMC VA2K will be held at the main medical center, 1601 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pre-registration is not required and those interested in participating should plan to arrive at the medical center no later than 10:45 a.m. The 2K event is open to everyone and can be completed during a lunch break. Participate in your local VA2K Walk and Roll to step up your fitness level and help improve the lives of homeless veterans.
