We are pleased to announce that the 76th Annual Last Man’s Dinner will be held on Monday evening,April 4, 2016 at Tavistock Country Club. Our social at 6:00 PM and the program will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.

The Last Man’s Club of Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 was chartered in 1940 by World War I veterans and later was expanded to include World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Gulf War veterans. Every member of Post 38 is a member of the Last Man’s Club. The dinner provides an opportunity for fellowship and honoring veterans. Special attention will be given to celebrating the privilege of being an American and respecting the Last Mans Charter which calls for all “to eat, drink and be merry”.

The program will feature a prime rib dinner, military honors, a POW/MIA Remembrance Service, and a Memorial Service for members who have passed and entered Post Everlasting in the last year. As usual, our special entertainment will be provided by the Camden County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums.

Our goal is to move the program along smartly and complete the evening by 9:00 pm. Tickets are $45.00.

We hope you agree with us that Tavistock Country Club is the best place to share our patriotic program.

To fulfill Post 38’s many commitments, including youth programs and Veterans activities, we ask for your financial support. “The Last Mans Club,” the social arm of Post 38 arranges for dinners as close as possible to cost.

Attached are two forms: (1) The 2016 Last Man’s Dinner Response Form and (2) the 2016 Program Ad Form. On the “Response Form”, we’ve provided you with an opportunity to support Post 38’s finances as a “Booster”. We publish a Program with ads recognizing our sponsors and boosters. Commander, Joe McElroy, has volunteered to organize and print this program. We hope you will support us with the purchase of an ad. You may do so by filling in the AD FORM and sending it with a check made payable to “Last Man’s Dinner”. If you have a question, please call Joe @ 856-429-8644. Tempus fugit, so please do it NOW.

(Valet parking is included in the cost of your ticket. Please use it! There’s no need to tip as personnel have already been compensated.)

We sincerely hope that you and your friends will attend this great event. You are encouraged to bring guests. If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to call me (Cell: 856-304-0261).
