Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 Birthday and Family Day. Hot dogs, hamburgers, Jersey corn and tomatoes, melons, etc. Cost is $12.00 pp, $5.00 for kids under 14. Contact Al Peak for tickets. We also are holding our annual Post 38 Lottery. This is quite an unusual lottery in that your odds are not a couple of million participants to one: We are only selling 450 tickets, so your odds are 450 to 1. Unheard of in these days. Tickets are $50. If the price is too high, get a partner to share the cost (and the prize) should you win. Any questions or requests for the Lottery Flyer contact Joe McElroy at 856-429-8644. The winning ticket will be drawn at our Family Picnic on Wednesday, August 21st. Winner need not be present for the drawing. If all tickets are sold the winner will get $10,000, runner up will get $1250.00. If all tickets are not sold the prize will be proportionately reduced but certainly less than $10,000.
