The Americas 911 Ride
Rides will start at various locations with different start dates and times. In Somerset the ride starts at Drug Fair, 1760 Easton Avenue on August 15th. Registration begins at 5:30 am and the motorcycles go out at 6:00 am. For more information on this start location call (732) 803-4009 or click here to send e-mail. Trenton riders will start at the Stockton Service Area, just south of Exit 7A on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound side. The ride goes out on August 15th at 6:00 am. For more information on the Trenton start location click here to send e-mail. Riders in Willingboro will start at Willingboro Police Station 40 Middlebury Land. Motorcycles go out on August 15th at 6:00 am. For more information on the Trenton start location call (609) 870-7394, or click here to send e-mail. In Rochelle Park the ride begins at Bergen County Harley-Davidson, 124 Essex Street. Riders go out at 8:00 am on August 15th. For more information on the Rochelle Park start location call (201) 787-0661, or click here to send e-mail. In Whitehouse the ride starts at the Exxon Station at Oldwick and 22. Motorcycles go out on August 15th at 9:15 am. For more information on the Whitehouse start location click here to send e-mail. On August 17th a ride will leave from Applebee’s, 671 West Edgar Road in Linden. Motorcycles go out at 5:00 pm. For more information on the Linden start location click here to send e-mail. The motorcycle ride is to remember those who served, protected, and lost their lives on September 11th 2001. Participants must pay a registration fee of $150.00 for the rider and $40.00 for a passenger. Proceeds will go to the America’s 911 Foundation, Inc. to be distributed to various police, fire and emergency medical organizations. Routes and intermarry may vary but most routes will include stops in Somerset, Pennsylvania; Washington, DC; and New York City. For more information go to http://americas911ride.org.
