Annual Lincoln Birthday Celebration Parade and Ceremonies, sponsored by the Union League of Philadelphia. Civil War military units, civilians, and heritage groups are welcome and encouraged to march in the parade through Philadelphia to Independence Hall to honor President Lincoln on his birthday. Participants will gather in the Library Lounge of the Union League, 140 S. Broad St. by 11AM. Convenient COMPLIMENTARY parking available for participants near the Union League prior to 10:00 AM. Color Guards, Firing Party, music, and wreaths are appreciated. There will be a COMPLIMENTARY lunch for all participants at 12 noon. After the parade ALL are invited to return to the League via coach for free refreshments in the historic Meredith Café.

Parking: Sansom St along side of the Union League and receive directions for free parking. RSVP required. Pick up a ticket at the Sansom St. garage.

All uniformed participants assemble by 11AM in the Library Lounge
11:30 AM colors ceremony in front of the League House

Approx. Time
12:00 pm – Complimentary Luncheon
1:30 pm – Marchers assemble on east side of Broad St
2:00 pm – Parade steps off
2:30 pm – Honor ceremony at Independence Hall with wreath layings
3:30 pm – After the parade ALL are invited to return to the League via coach for free refreshments in the historic Meredith Café.
