Come join the fun and support your Burlington County Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen! Race Date: October 19th, 2013 .Purpose of Event The event, sponsored by the Burlington County Military Affairs Committee, is being held to raise funds to benefit the Military members and their families at Joint Base – McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. There will be two separate run events: The 6-hour relay run and the 5K cross-country Race. Both events are open to Military and Civilian. In addition to the two races,there will be additional activities going on that will interest the entire family. NEW THIS YEAR!! The AFFR has partnered with the “Punkin Chunkin’ For ALS” team and the Central Jersey Tractor Pull Association for a combined “Fall Fling Festival” Event. The day starts with the 5K off-road race followed by the start of the endurance relay. All through the day participants can enjoy the marvels of the array of punkin chunkin’ devices and the thunderous thrills of the high performance tractor pull competition. We will also have an antique/specialty car show, musical entertainment and performances throughout the day. Registration opened on July 1st through Active.com for both the 5K and the 6-Hour Relay.
