Join us in celebrating the life of our South Philly friend, Babe Heffron. In order to keep Babes memory alive, and to show young Philadelphians all that they can do when they set their minds to it, we have begun working with the community to build a statue of Babe to be placed in the neighbrohood that he called home. Beef and Beer, Saturday, April 18th 3pm – 7pm at Froggy Carr, 1429 S 2nd St., Phila. $25 tickets – food, beer, silent auction items, including special items signed by Babe, door prizes, raffle items, live auction with rare items, t-shirts, music and more.
