Benefit set for Warminster sailor burned in explosion
SOUTHAMPTON — There will be a benefit for Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class
Pasquale Troisi and his family April 20 at Maggio’s restaurant and
bar, 400 Second Street Pike.
Troisi, 30, the father of two boys ages 2 and 4, suffered burns to 77
percent of his body when a chiminea exploded during a backyard party
in Upper Moreland on Feb. 22. Friends and family were celebrating the
Warminster native’s return from Afghanistan.
He remains in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.
The organizers of the benefit are asking for donations for a raffle
and auction that will be part of the April 20 benefit.
Items can include gift certificates, gift baskets, tickets to events,
artwork, memberships and other gift items.
All donations, including monetary gifts, can be dropped off at
Maggio’s restaurant or mailed to Bette McPeak, c/o Maggio’s, 400
Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
People making donations can also call 215-364-4983 to have a volunteer pick up the gift item.
