Cherry Hill, NJ. (February, 2013) — The Billy Walker Jr. Foundation, a non-profit of Cherry Hill, N.J., seeks support and donations at their second commemorative event. The foundation was created by family and friends of 21-year-old Billy Walker Jr., first responder and EMT, who passed away on May 30, 2011. The mission of the organization is to support men and women who hope to become first responders through donations that will go toward enrollment fees, tuition and training supplies.
The social will take place on April 20, 2013, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Lenola Fireman’s Memorial Hall located at 229 N. Lenola Rd. Moorestown N.J. 08057. The organization hosts the event annually to raise funds to support aspiring first responders and celebrate the memory of Billy Jr.
Food and refreshments will be served, and supporters can expect a fun night of music and dancing. Tickets will be $30.00 per person, or $50.00 per couple.
