Dear Friends,
 We will continue to stay safe and NOT have our monthly meetings just yet.  However, our Active Duty Military Troops are still being deployed.  The MSGNJ was able to pack up and mail out 594 Care Packages so far this year!  This is only made Possible thanks to YOUR kind Item donations from the MSGNJ monthly drop offs, and financial donations mailed to our PO Box and via the website!    We are EXTREMELY Grateful for your assistance!  Thank you!
 We would like to keep the boxes flowing so……our “Workaround” will continue.  There Will Be NO Meeting held for December however,  we will do a DROP-OFF event once again.   Here is how it will work:
  We will have a DONATION COLLECTION DROP-OFF ONLY,   NO Formal Meeting,  Please Wear a Mask, and Social Distance!     We are Collecting ITEMS  (List Below)  or   POSTAGE FUNDS  for Shipping Cost of Care Packages  for Our DEPLOYED Active  Duty U.S. Military Men & Women!
WHERE:    the PARKING LOT of the American Legion POST 281 Stetser-Lamartine,   (where we normally 
                   meet)   intersection of Black Horse Pike. & Chews Landing Rd, Gloucester Twp, NJ
WHEN:      Thursday evening, December 10th, 2020,    Because of the dark early evenings, we will Start at 5:30pm  Ending at 7:30pm
WHAT:        Trunks of our Cars will be Open for DROP-OFF.    Please Separate your Donated  items (food separate from toiletry items)    One Car will take Food and Snacks,       One Car will take Toiletry Items  and….. 
 
One Car will take Grocery Items for our Military Families at Pomona Air Base & Joint Baser McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst – Peanut Butter, Jelly, Pasta (any type), Pasta Sauce, Tuna, Mayo, Soup, Crackers, Juice, Cereal, etc.  
 
Items for Troop Packages:  Almonds, Cashews, Mixed Nuts, Peanuts or Sunflower Seeds
Beef Jerky, Pepperoni stick or Slim Jims
Chap stick,    Travel Size Shampoo or Lotion,   Toothpaste & Toothbrush, non-aerosol Sunscreen
Coffee   or      Tea Bags – VERY small boxes
Comics from Sunday Newspapers
Cookies & Crackers,  small packages
Crossword or Sudoku Puzzle Books
Flip Flops for the shower,  large sizes for men & women, any color
Granola Bars or Power Bars or PopTarts or Peanut butter Cracker packs
Gum & Hard Candy or Lollipops
Individual drink mixes (dry Gatorade, Kool Aid, Tea/with sugar)
Pens & Pencils
Sunglasses, Adult
Trail Mix
Tuna, Salmon, Chicken, Spam (in the foil pouches)
Uno, Yatzee, other small games
White COTTON Adult Socks, above the boot style /calf size not crew or ankle socks
We will be there from 5:30pm to 7:30pm  Thank you SO very much!   We can’t do this work without your kind and generous help!
