The Union League’s premier Civil War Round Table event – LINCOLN DAY -VALENTINE’S DAY – CIVIL WAR BALL returns to historic Lincoln Hall to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend and for all to dance the night away with their Scarlett O’Hara or Rhett Butler. 19th century Victorian – era dancing is always elegant, fun, enjoyable and adventurous. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soda (cocktails – cash bar) at 6:00 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM followed by period dancing and music by the Philadelphia Brigade Band. World renowned, Civil War Era Victorian Dance masters, Briant and Karin Bohleke, have been retained as callers. Period attire or black tie is encouraged. As the Union League – LINCOLN DAY – VALENTINE’S DAY- CIVIL WAR BALL has become so popular, sleeping rooms at the ‘INN AT THE LEAGUE’ are normally sold out, well in advance of the Ball.
