5k Run/Walk to honor the memory of Cpl Marc Ryan USMC of Gloucester City killed in action Ramadi, Iraq on 15 November 2004. All proceeds go to the Cpl Marc T. Ryan Special Scholarship Fund sponsored by the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. To register click here. $25 per participant gets you a L/S T-shirt, food, draft beer, water, fruit, and whatever else we can get donated. Cpl Ryan Tribute follows the 5k with patriotic theme and presentation of our national colors by the U.S. Marine Corps, CC Emerald Society Pipes & Drums, DJ music. Note to walkers, the “walk” is a shortened course. The 5k run is USATF sanctioned and the course is USATF certified. Race day registration start – 7:30am at VFW, 27-29 N. Burlington St., Gloucester City, NJ
