What
• Veterans and family members invited to attend private, personal meetings with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) certified National Service Officer. DAV membership not required.
• DAV professionals will counsel you on benefits, file initial claims for you, update established claims, discuss service and non-service connected medical conditions, counsel and assist you in the claims process.
• DAV National Service Officers will provide straight answers on the rights and benefits you earned through your service to your country, peacetime and wartime.. This service and any continued service by the DAV is completely free of charge to you and your family members.
Where
•One on one, private meetings will be conducted in the DAV Mobile Van, on a first-come, first-served basis. This van is computerized with two offices and has a direct link to the Veterans Administration. The Service Officers have all necessary claims forms and other forms and information packets on the van, ready for immediate use.
•Veteran should bring copy of DD214, Social Security Number, VA Claim number if updating old or existing claims and any relevant (old and recent) medical documentation involving new or old claims.
•Mobil van will be stationed at Army & Navy Union, Garrison 52, 26 Riverview Ave, National Park NJ08063Note: On Grove Ave. look for signs “ ANU Turkey Shoot “ and “Coconut Cove coming soon”, turn at Cattails Bar, follow road to end
