Enjoy the Parade of Tall Ships and a Free Lunch for Veterans and their Families. 11:30am – 4:00pm
In conjunction with the 2015 Tall Ships Festival and the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, SMART States and the Board of Freeholders invite veterans and their families to the South Jersey Veterans’ Family Lunch on the Battleship NJ on Thursday, June 25th, sponsored by Cooper University Health Care and Lockheed Martin. This free event includes lunch, a small welcome program and an award presentation to Vietnam veterans.
Honorary co-hosts include Camden County Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs; Congressmen Norcross, LoBiondo & MacArthur; and NJ Senator James Beach, Senate VA Committee Chair.
WIBG “Welcome Home” Radio Show Co-hosts Joe Griffies & Ed Cubbage.
