Join Warriors Watch Riders, A Heroes Welcome and friends to welcome Home Tech Sgt John M. Matecki, Jr. at PHL Airport. The family of Tech Sgt John M. Matecki, Jr. has requested A WELCOME HOME/ ESCORT BACK TO our Hero’s family home in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Tech Sgt Matecki, Jr. has served in the United States Air Force for 20 years joining right out of Roman Catholic High School. After basic training, our Hero got married and was sent out for a 6 month stint in Saudi Arabia. Upon returning he was based in Charleston, SC from which he served a 6 month tour in Qatar and two 6 month tours in Iraq. Tech Sgt Matecki, Jr. was then transferred to Maguire AFB in NJ and then sent to Edwards AFB in California. His retirement ceremony will be held in California on August 18th. After his retirement, our Hero and his family will move to Ohio where he will work at Wright-Patterson AFB as a civilian. Meet at Firebase 69 at 7:30am.
