uniting a wounded veteran with a service support dog
We know that times are difficult for many people but our mission is to help veterans in need. In our first five years the Fall Golf Classic has raised more than $29,000 for our wounded warriors.
This year we are teaming up with Semper Fido K-9 Basics, located in Marlton, NJ. Their mission is to unite a wounded veteran suffering with PTSD or a severe brain injury with a rescue shelter dog that is deemed fit to be trained as a working support dog.
The dog and the veteran become a team that enables the veteran to deal with many of the pit falls of PTSD such as anxiety, panic, fear, depression, isolation, and many other issues. Both the dog and veteran are trained at this local facility, and 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to them.
