This is our annual drive for Funds to place Flags in Delaware’s Veterans Cemeteries. A silent auction, Spaghetti dinner, non stop music and the best friends come every year to kick off our FUNdraising. For the low, low price of $20 ($35 drag) where else are you going to get country-rock music for your listening, dancing and dining pleasure, a door prize, 50/50 (usually very high value) and a world-famous silent auction with items of superior value. This is a family friendly event that is postponed from April due to Beer Bug.
The actual flags are placed at the end of June (in time for July 4th and the summer) and are semi-permanent. To date I am proud to say we have placed 23,000 Flags on the markers of our heroes over the years, but there are many, many to go.
