Honor Mission USMC Veteran / Millville Police Officer Christopher W. Reeves. (killed in the line of duty)

Christopher W. Reeves, age 40 of Millville, died Sunday morning from injuries sustained in the line of duty. Born in Millville, Chris was a 1991 graduate of Millville High School. He served in the Marine Corps security force regiment from 1991 to 1996. Chris was a supervisor in the security department in the Borgata Casino after his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps. He served as a volunteer fire fighter for the City of Millville before joining the police department. He was an eight year veteran at the time of his death. Chris loved history, playing video games, kayaking and was a very proud father. He is survived by his wife Susan, his son Alexander W. Reeves, parents Wayne and Kathleen Reeves and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Chris’ funeral service 1PM Friday at the Lakeside Middle School, 2 N. Sharp Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 AM to 1 PM at the school. Burial will follow the service in Mount Pl!
