Join the Heroic Gardens team, Veterans, family and friends as we forest bathe.
What’s Forest Bathing?
It’s the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature. And by doing so, you are taking the time to quiet your mind and energize your body. Essentially, working with nature to heal yourself.
Now seems like a perfect time to bathe in the beauty of nature and let it embrace our souls.
Join fellow Veterans and the volunteers of Heroic Gardens as we spend an hour healing in nature.

A guided instruction will be provided by Peg Schofield, Registered Horticultural Therapist.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVENT:
Location: Washington’s Headquarters
Important Information: Do Not drive into the main entrance (the Visitors Center) road.
Instead, proceed North on N. Gulph Road, turning to the left onto Route 23. You will pass the Washington Memorial Chapel and Varnum’s Picnic Area.
Washington’s Headquarters parking lot is on the right (River Road) Please drive with caution on Rt 23 as there are numerous deer in the area. There is a restroom building by the parking lot. Masks are required inside the restroom area.
Please arrive no later than 9:30AM. We will begin promptly at 10AM.
