The American Legion, Post 524 of Ocean City will host a ceremony honoring the memory of four Cape May County Veterans who passed away and their remains have been left unclaimed until now. Post 524 will assemble at Veterans Memorial Park, 5th St & Wesley Ave, Ocean City on Thursday, April 25th at 11 AM and, along with a number of dignitaries and their fellow veterans, will pay tribute to their comrades.
Following the ceremony, the cremains of these Veterans will be escorted from Ocean City to the Cape May County Veterans Memorial Cemetery for final interment. The public is invited to join with Post 524 and their fellow Veterans Service Organizations in offering their respects to these formerly forgotten heroes.
