The weekend will feature live music, entertainment, military exhibitions, attractions, amusements, contests, food concessions and a local craft beer garden along Wiggins Park and the waterfront promenade, topped off with magnificent views of the Philadelphia skyline, Battleship New Jersey and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

Celebrate America’s 238th birthday on the Camden Waterfront at the Second Annual Camden Waterfront Freedom Festival. With the Battleship New Jersey – America’s most decorated naval vessel, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, and the Philadelphia skyline as a backdrop, the Camden Waterfront will host a variety of FREE special events, July 3 – 6, perfect for families from around the region to enjoy!

Pay tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their contributions to protecting our freedom, while enjoying free family-friendly fun on the Camden Waterfront, with live music and entertainment, military displays and demonstrations, attractions and amusements, contests, food trucks and concessions, and the largest fireworks show in the region – The Adventure Aquarium Waterfront Fireworks Celebration on July 5!

Don’t forget to stop by the Battleship New Jersey during the Freedom Festival to check out the TEACH FLEET LEGO Display- the world’s coolest collection of giant naval-themed Lego models. Each ship is up to 8 feet long!

Then head to the Adventure Aquarium’s newest exhibit – Hippo Haven to come nose-to-nose with hippos Button and Genny, at the only Aquarium in the world with hippos on exhibit, along with over 8,500 amazing creatures!

THURSDAY, JULY 3 LET FREEDOM ROCK FESTIVAL PRE-CONCERT PARTY
Kick off your 4th of July Weekend in style at the Let Freedom Rock Pre-Concert Party in Wiggins Park! Enjoy free live music, giveaways, and the Freedom Festival attractions as WMGK broadcasts live from Wiggins Park! Then head on over to the Susquehanna Bank Center for a rocking good time at WMGK’s Let Freedom Rock Concert.

Let Freedom Rock Fest Pre-Concert Party
The WMGK Let Freedom Rock Fest will be extended to an all day event with the pre-party at Wiggins Park. WMGK listeners will be encouraged to join them at the park during the Freedom Festival, and continue on at the concert. The pre-party will feature Live music provided by MGK, Andre Gardner broadcasting Live from Wiggins Park, and MGK’s family friendly games.
2 – 5 pm WMGK broadcasts LIVE from Wiggins Park
3 – 6 pm FREE live music at Wiggins Park from Former MGK House Band, The Sofa Kings!
6 – 11 pm WMGK’s Let Freedom Rock Fest featuring Styx, Don Felter, and Foreigner at the Susquehanna Bank Center.

Salute our nation’s armed forces on America’s birthday with a fun-filled day of patriotic events and performances. “Salute to America” with the Main stage Harmony Choir and enjoy the sounds of Zydeco A-Go-Go, patriotic songs from the 40s through today and old school classics!

The Freedom Festival Salutes our troops with discounted admission at Adventure Aquarium and the Battleship New Jersey. All active members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces will enjoy $10 admission to Adventure Aquarium. The Battleship New Jersey offers all Active Military, WWII Veterans, and former USS NJ Crewmembers FREE tours, and $15 admission for all other veterans throughout the festival!
