Tuesday, April 14, 2015 – GATHERING of HEROES -Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima at the 6th Annual GATHERING OF HEROES. Join these war heroes as they swap stories and serve drinks at the Irish Pub. Medal of Honor Recipients confirmed to attend are Hershel “Woody” Williams – Iwo Jima, Mike Thornton – Vietnam, Barney Barnum – Vietnam, and Brian Thacker – Vietnam. Also Ex-POW Cpt David Drummond (ret). $20 admission fee. Raffle, 50/50, T-Shirts, Autographed Medal of Honor Books and Citations, Silent Auction and more. Event Location: Irish Pub, 20th & Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA. $20 admission fee.

4:00pm – Local WWII Iwo Jima WIA Veteran, Bob Scullin, will arrive at the American Legion, 1532 Martin Ave., Cherry Hill, NJ,  where we will be on hand to thank this WWII veteran for his service and coin him. Please come out and show your respect for one of the greatest generations veterans!

After a meet and greet, Mr Scullin will be joining us to the Gathering of Heroes Event in Philadelphia, as he is an invited guest. 

4:35pm – People that are going to attend the Gathering of Heroes event will start loading up on the bus. 

4:45pm – Motorcycle Escort and Departure – The Warriors Watch Riders and friends will escort Mr Scullin and the Bus to the Irish Pub  in Philadelphia for the Gathering of Heroes Event. (Riders – if interested in attending the Event inside the Irish Pub, see below for details)

5:20 (approx.) – Arrive at the Irish Pub for the GATHERING OF HEROES EVENT.  70th Anniversary of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.  Here’s the perfect chance to join some war heroes as they swap stories, meet & greet guests, and serve drinks at the Irish Pub! 4 Medal of Honor recipients will be there – Hershel “Woody” Williams (Iwo Jima), Brian Thacker (Vietnam), Mike Thornton(Vietnam),and  Barney Barnum(Vietnam) . NJ native and Ex-POW (Vietnam) Capt David Drummond and WWII Iwo Jima veteran Bob Scullin will be among other military guests. $20 Admission Fee .  Raffle * 50/50 * T-Shirts * Autographed Medal of Honor Citations * Silent Auctions * Medal of Honor Books * and more!  

8:00pm – Event is over. We will load up on bus and return to the American Legion, 1532 Martin Ave., Cherry Hill, NJ.
