150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and the Gettysburg Address
The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and the Gettysburg Address will be observed in 2013. The Gettysburg Foundation, in partnership with Gettysburg National Military Park, will commemorate Gettysburg’s battle and the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery at Gettysburg with many special events. The Gettysburg Foundation will partner with the National Park Service at Gettysburg National Military Park to use the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War to increase public understanding of the heritage and lasting significance of Gettysburg and Gettysburg’s place within the context of the American Civil War.
