Obit – Wilbur J. Swift (Wil or Bill) of Florence, NJ lost his battle with pulmonary fibrosis on July 22, 2016 at Temple Hospital. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Wil was born in 1948 in Coatesville, PA and graduated from Penncrest High School in 1967. He moved to New Jersey in 1972 after serving in the US Air Force. Wil enlisted in the US Air Force in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1972. Wil was a member of the Francis W. Robbins American Legion Post 194, NRA, Florence Township Yacht Club, and a previous member of the Florence Fire Company No.1. Funeral services will be held on Sunday July, 31, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the discretion of his family
