Terry L. Hewitt, age 64, of Mannington passed away Thursday, August 29th in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late John and Pearl Rhubart Hewitt. Mr. Hewitt was a US Marine veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a journeyman pipefitter for the US Dept. of Defense. Terry was a life member of VFW Post No. 253 Cpl. Joseph C. Toulson and a member of the American Legion Post No. 75 of Salem. He enjoyed woodcarving, reading, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, collecting US Marine memorabilia and spending time with his family and friends. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 5th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Salem County Veteran’s Cemetery, Pilesgrove.
