Honor Mission
US Army, Vietnam Vet, and Rolling Thunder Member : SSgt Inhong Hur
Inhong “Ben” Hur, 65, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Sunday, April 21, at
Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Kaesung, Korea and came to
the United States in 1977. He was a mechanical design engineer at Cooper
Notification in West Long Branch for 28 years before retiring in February of
this year. He served in the U.S. Army for 7 years. Ben was a Vietnam Veteran and
a member of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Marines and later a Staff Sergent in the
US ARMY. He was a member of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club in Forked River.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 10 am Friday at the
First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst. For condolences, please visit

departing around noon for the VA cemetery for a 1330 military service.
At this time, we are not sure if we will be going to the VA cemetery in
Wrightstown or Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown
