Rusling E Boone born July 12, 1923. 90 years old. Salem county resident his
entire life. Predeceased by his wife Charlotte and son Eddie. Two remaining
children Kathy and Sue. 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Retired from
Dupont Chambers Works. World War II veteran. He was a scout in the 45th
infantry. Fought in the battle on Anzio beach in Italy. Also helped to free the
prisoners at Dachau prison camp. Some of the countries he fought in were
Germany, Italy, France, Austria, and a few others. Honorable discharge. Enjoyed
playing the piano and his many trips to Florida.Services are at Layton’s Funeral home in woodstown nj. Viewing from 10 to 11. Then a service begins at 11. Burial is at lawnside cemetery in woodstown nj.
