JWV Post 129 Group THANK YOU (Mug and Hug)
The Jewish War Veterans Post 126 of Cherry Hill, NJ is part of a federally
chartered, service-oriented organization comprised of members who are men and
women veterans of the armed forces or of the allied armed forces, associate
members and patrons.
Here in Southern NJ the JWV Post 126 has been a major organizer and fund
provider of so many Veteran events for both present and past Heroes. The Massive
Thanks Giving Day Troop Dinner Escort is the one most of you can identify with.
They have also been part of the a few Nursing Home Meet and Greets that we have
done, and they are extremely active with events for the Veterans Home in
Vineland NJ. Plus, Like other Posts, they are a Post that is comprised of
Veterans themselves.
We spoke with the Post Commander and informed him that one or two of us would
like to come over to their Monthly Meeting and Thank Them in person for the
support and work that they have done. Right away the Commanders reply was… “Well
We know your group and the work you do and we would like to recognize you” … I
laughed to myself because I couldn’t help but think of the Heroes who THANK US
for escorting them Home!! …. Same kind of situation there.

We are going to Rally and go knock softly on their Door during their Meeting in
the morning and Do a Little Hero Mug and Hugging and let these guys and gals
know how much we appreciate their Service, and their support and work they do
for our Heroes.
