December 20th 2 to 4pm is the Christmas Party and a visit by Santa for the Lyons VA Hospital Community Living Center(Nursing Home).  The Christmas dinner will be catered, and the food will be suitable for all of the residents, many are on mechanical diets, so we are careful to provide the nutritious but flavorful meals for their enjoyment.   We will need help with desserts and if you want to donate money or clothing, we will need them before December 5th.  I have attached a list of approved items recommended for purchase.

Women’s bath robes in sizes L and XL, blouses in sizes L and XL, slippers with backs (no backless slippers)

Women’s sweat pants;  Cosmetic case with hair products – shampoo, comb & brush, lip gloss, deodorant, body wash, moisturizer, body lotion & body spray, toothpaste & toothbrush as well as barrettes.

 

GIFT CARDS:  Purchase $25 / $50 gift cards from Blockbuster for the CLC.
