Warriors Watch Posting -OK Folks, here’s something a little different. We have been requested by the daughter of a WW2 veteran to honor her dad, 89 year old WW2 Veteran, Sgt. William G Goodrich. OYRSJ is having a fund-raiser event from 6-9 PM out in Browns Mills at the Rita’s Water Ice on June 5. One of the attendees will be our HERO! Daughter, Clare Wadsworth is the one that put this fund-raiser together for us OYRSJ.No fire trucks, no noise, just a quiet, calm walk up to our WWII Hero and a quiet handshake style Mug N Hug. Clare is afraid anything else will startle him.
William G Goodrich joined the Army at 18, discharged when the War ended. He served at Fort Dix as a Mechanic, retired as Sergeant. He has 9 children, 12 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.
