Mug n Hug for WWII veteran, Niels Jorgensen. Rally time 1715. KSU: 1745. Rally point Wawa @ intersections of Fort Dix rd & Arneys Mount rd. Pemberton NJ. Details about PFC Niels (Hank) H. Jorgensen.He just turned 86 this month. He was drafted into the Army right out of high school in 1945. After basic training he was assigned to the Quarter Master Corps in Bremen-Vegesack Germany. He spent his time in the service running supplies for his fellow servicemen. He was discharged in 1947. He was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He never received the medals because you had to pay for them at that time and money was really tight. This will mean so much to him as he has never really been recognized as a WWII Vet. What do you say we show an 86 year old vet how much he is appreciated for what he did to help keep us free, even before many of us were born.
