The purpose of the New Jersey’s Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Veterans is to locate, identify and inter the orphaned and abandoned cremations of American veterans through the joint efforts of the Vietnam Veterans of America’s NJ State Council and other Veteran Organizations. To provide honor and respect to those who have served this country in time of peace and conflict.
Aug 16th
NJ Mission of Honor Ceremony to be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012, to honor 12 veterans – 5 World War I Veterans (Army, Navy, Marines) and 7 World War II Veterans (Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force). These veterans were from Richards Funeral Homes in Riverdale and West Milford, NJ.

9:30 am Arrive at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2906, 260 Wanaque Avenue, Pompton Lakes NJ.
10:00 am Ceremony begins
11:15 am Motorcade (motorcycles and all vehicles) departs, with NJ State Police Escort, via Interstate 287 south, NJ Turnpike South

1:00 pm Arrive at Richard Stockton Rest Area between exits 7 and 7a, southbound
1:15 pm Depart for BG William Doyle Vet. Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ
1:45 pm Arrive Rear Entrance (Jacabstown/Arneytown Road) BG William Doyle Vet. Memorial Cemetery

>> All those attending the ceremony at the VFW in Pompton Lakes, please be sure to arrive on time as the ceremony will start promptly and end in sufficient time for the 11:15 am departure.
>> Any motorcyclists/vehicles wanting to join the motorcade from the rest area, must be ready to depart by 1:15 pm for the cemetery.

WARRIORS WATCH and friends will Form a FLAG LINE at the Entrance way of the Rest Area for when the PROCESSION ESCORT Arrives…( Approx 1230 ) And Also for the interment ceremony at Gen. Doyle Cemetery. PLEASE bring an AMERICAN FLAG * 3X5 Flags*
