New Jersey’s Mission of Honor (NJMOH) for Cremains of American Veterans

The purpose of the New Jersey’s Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Veterans is to locate, identify and inter the orphaned and abandoned cremations of American veterans through the joint efforts of various Veteran Organizations. To provide honor and respect to those who have served this country in time of peace and conflict.
On Aug 30 ( Thursday ) We will Hold another HONORABLE MILITARY BURIAL CEREMONY at 10:00 am to honor 6 American Veterans’ Cremains, ( from the McCorry Funeral Home Cliffside Park, NJ.)
The Ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 am at the American Legion Post 129, 2025 Church Road, Toms River, NJ.
Following the ceremony a NJ State Police motorized escort will leave the American Legion Post at 11:30 am and proceed to the interment at Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ for a committal service which begins at 1:00 pm.
For Those Rallying at the General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, muster at the back entrance for an arrival of the procession by 12:30.

This brings the total of abandoned New Jersey veteran cremains we have found, identified and interred to eighty five (85). Our mission isn’t complete until we’ve found the last one.
The next interrment ceremony will be on September 7th.
