The 2013 Run will take place on September 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2013. The format will be very similar to the 2012 Run as follows…
- Thursday 9/26 – Cape May – Sunset Beach ceremony and Gold Star Family Dinner.
- Friday 9/27 – Day 1 – 08;30am – Start at Cape May Lighthouse and Finish at 4:30pm in Ocean City.
- Saturday 9/28 – Day 2 – 06:30am – Start in Somers Point and Finish at 6:30pm in Toms River.
- Sunday 9/29 – Day 3 – 06:30am – Start in Bricktown and Finish at 4:30pm at the NJ Vietnam Veterans\’ Memorial in Holmdel, NJ.
Each mile of the Run is dedicated to a NJ Hero and the Core Run Team will stop at every Hero Marker (every mile) and present an American Flag and a personal biographical card to the waiting family members, friends and comrades. The intent is to create a 174+ mile long memorial trail through New Jersey.
