Welcome Home Mug-n-Hug for Navy Veteran Robert Wagenseller. Robert Wagenseller = Aviation Electricians Mate 2nd Class. – Sept. 1948 till Sept. 1952. Some of his deployments: 1st ship U.S.S. Richard E. Kraus ( DD 849 ), 2nd U.S.S Cabot ( CVL 28 ), 3rd U.S.S Siboney ( CVE 112 ), 4th U.S.S. Saipan ( CVL 48 ) ~ All in the pacific. Jobs included: Aviation electrician. Steel erector supervisor. When he came out of the service he went right to work as an iron worker. He helped build the New York Twin Towers. When the towers were hit he was working a job right across the river in Hobokin N.J. He said, “it was a terrible thing watching something you help create being destroyed that way just to take so many innocent lives.” This is a great opportunity for us to honor this man for his service, dedication and sacrifice he gave for our country.
