Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day – we are nearing completion of the new Atlantic County Veterans Museum located in the historic Daniel Estell House on Route 50 in Estell Manor adjacent to the Atlantic County Park and Veterans Cemetery.
We have received and will continue to collect donations of military artifacts that will help share the contributions of our local veterans throughout history in protecting and preserving our freedoms. The museum will serve to honor their sacrifice and service as well as a lasting tribute to be enjoyed by their descendants. It will also provide an educational resource and a unique visitor destination.
In cooperation with the Atlantic County Veterans Museum Committee and the Veterans Museum Foundation, I invite you and your fellow veterans to join us on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day,Wednesday, December 7, between 11 AM and 2 PM at the museum for a preview and progress update.
