The City of Philadelphia struggles with some of the highest poverty rates in the country. The Mission Continues 1st Platoon Philadelphia will partner with The Veterans Group to ensure some of the 1,400 homeless veterans in Philadelphia have access to safe shelter, food and social services.
The Mission Continues 1st Platoon Philadelphia is mobilizing once again to help improve the lives of residents transitioning at The Philadelphia Veterans Group. Platoon members will create a safe place so that these men and women have a greater chance to overcome challenges and find success in Philadelphia.Together, we will demolish an old dilapidated perimeter block wall and assist in constructing a new block wall.
We are in need of volunteers who have experience in masonry or just enjoy working outside.
