Announcing the placement of Wild Bill Guarnere Bronze Statue on June 6, 2015
(Broomall, PA ) The Board of Directors of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial in Newtown Square have announced that as part of the Newtown Square Days (10 am-4 PM) on Saturday June 6, 2015 an announcement about the placement of the Wild Bill Guarnere 8’Bronze Statue will be made.
There will be a Casket Flag Raising Ceremony at 12:00 PM.
The Wild Bill Guarnere Memorial Fund team will be on hand all day long with Double Edge Sport’s Grille, who will be selling sandwiches donating a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Delaware County Veteran’s Memorial to help defer the costs of upkeep for the statue.
Music will be provided by John Useller throughout the day.
In addition, Cigna Insurance will be presenting a check to the Wild Bill Guarnere Memorial Fund at 1:00 PM.
Gene Guarnere, Wild Bill’s son, will be there at 1:00 PM for a presentation and a Q &A session for attendees.
