Description: This program dives deep into the multiple components of stressors that are unique to First Responders and their family. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what it means to “cope”, the process of coping, compare productive vs nonproductive coping mechanisms, learn to plan a goal of resiliency for this career and actively seek emotional wellbeing. Suicide prevention, potential signs of someone at risk for suicide, and appropriate ways to respond, complete this session.
