NJ Mission of Honor’s purpose is to locate, identify and inter the orphaned and abandoned cremains of American Veterans. So many veterans have been forgotten on the shelves of funeral homes, some for more than 50 years. There are certain situations, where, veterans who are returned home are without next of kin. The final resting place for these warriors is often in niches in funeral homes. It is NJMOH mission is to rescue those remains, to locate, identify, and give to those veterans a proper resting place of honor in veteran’s cemeteries.
