Roughnecks hold benefit to help Glassboro’s VFW Post 679

GLASSBORO, NJ—On Saturday, March 9, 2013, the Gloucester County Roughnecks MC organization will host their annual Frosty Balls fundraiser to benefit the Glassboro VFW Post 679 Hall. The event will be held in the VFW Hall located on the corner of Sewell and Wilmer Streets.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $20 each and includes a full buffet, beer, coffee and desserts along with the sounds of For Your Benefit featuring DJ Buckets.

Roughneck’s President, Ed Barton states: “The members of the Glassboro VFW Post have been extremely generous in allowing the Roughnecks to use their building as our clubhouse. Every year we try to help them out by volunteering for their events and helping them with some minor repairs but our greatest impact is made with our annual Frosty Balls Benefit so we really need the public to join us for the event.”

Glassboro VFW Commander, Dennis Cleary states: “The Roughnecks have become a great asset to the Glassboro VFW Post. They help with military escorts and lend a helping hand when any of our veterans’ need assistance. They are a great group of men and we are proud to have them as a part of our home and we truly appreciate all money they raise for the facility through the Frosty Balls event.”

For more information about the Roughneck Frosty Ball Motorcycle Run contact: Darren Leonard (609)820-2793 or Ed Barton (609)929-5707.
