The Run to Remember is a 5K and 1 mile walk to remember the 74 sailors lost on the Frank E. Evans during the Vietnam War. The proceeds of this event go to the construction of a Gold Star Family Monument to be constructed on the extended Veterans Park on Spruce Ave, North Wildwood. On Memorial Day May 30th at 10 am there will be a ground breaking ceremony at the park on Spruce Ave, near New York Ave in North Wildwood, all are invited. Register on line at www.nwwvetrun.com for $30 or on day of event from 0730 to 0845 at the North Wildwood Beach Patrol Headquarters, 15th and the Beach, North Wildwood for $35. Rain or shine, run is on the beach.
