Thanksgiving Day Dinners for the Troops – the Battleship, in partnership with Camden Country Veterans Affairs and Camden County Board of Freeholders, will provide 250 active military personnel from Joint Base-McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Dover Air Force Base a complimentary full-course turkey dinner! Residents are welcome to come out and greet our military heroes on the pier of the Battleship. Guests should be on the pier around 10am. Free parking is provided in lot #1 across from the Susquehanna Bank Center. Food and entertainment will be provided to greeters. The troops are expected to arrive around 10:30am and a brief ceremony will take place on the Battleship’s forecastle (tented rear deck) at 11am.
